NEW SERVICE (valid state ID is required):

Application for new service must be made in person at City Hall. Please print and complete the application for utility services and submit for processing any weekday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. In the very near future an online New Service Application will be made available.

A deposit is required for all premises occupied by someone other than the owner.  A connection fee of $600 for water and $600 for sewer is required for all new subscribers; an additional $200 may be required per bore for sewer taps.  See Water Clerk for commercial water and sewer tap-in fees.

A valid state ID and deposit of $100 is required for previously connected customers.

PAYING UTILITY BILLS:
There are several convenient ways to pay your water bill. You may send your payment via the U.S. Postal Service. Bill payment is also accepted at City Hall from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM excluding holidays. Please bring your bill with you for the most efficient service. There is also a convenient mail drop slot located at City Hall. Payments can be made by cash, check, money order.

All bills are due upon receipt and will be assessed a 10% late fee if paid after the due date. There is a $150.00 fee charged for meter tampering.

Service can be disconnected if not paid in full by the due date. All charges on bill plus a $40 reconnection fee must be paid in full for service to be restored.

If you misplaced or did not receive a bill please contact City Hall promptly.  Failure to receive a bill does not exempt customers from payment, late fees or disconnection.

All other utilities should be arranged and paid at service provider’s designated locations.

DISCONTINUE OR CHANGE OF SERVICE:
You must come to City Hall to discontinue service or to make a change in service. You will need to provide a valid state ID and a forwarding address. Services will not be disconnected without a forwarding address.
